I am opening my studio for the Vermont Open Studio Tour. There are 179 participating venues all over Vermont including blacksmiths, potters, sculptors and painters. WHAT is in store for visitors at my open studio:
- Drop in any time between 10 and 5 to see my work and get an inside view of how it’s made.
- Materials will be out for kids painting
- Encaustic painting demos and Materials for encaustic painting will be available for those who would like to try it. Encaustic is a wax-based paint that is applied using a heated palette then fused to the painting surface using a heat gun. The finish is incredibly lustrous. See videos below:
I will also have materials available for kids to do some painting.
